AGREEMENT and TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Chartior has a registered office at 436 West Broadway, NY and is doing business as Chartior.   

 

Our website and its contents are for our customers general information and use. It can be updated at any time.  We cannot guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of the information on this website for any particular purpose and agree that it may contain errors for which we expressly decline any liability emanating from such errors s permitted by law

 

All information and equipment on the site is owned by or licensed to Chartior and all trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.  Unauthorised use of this website may give to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Warranty

All of our electric bicycles and scooters come with a 12 month limited warranty. 
 

Modifications of any sort, water damage, consumables (tires, brake pads, grip tape, etc), wear & tear, collision and product abuse are not covered under warranty. The warranty period begins the day of confirmed delivery.
 

Warranty claims made within 5 business days of delivery will be eligible for replacement parts and shipping of replacement parts.
 

Claims made after 5 business days of delivery will be eligible for replacement parts and the customer will be asked to pay for shipping of parts.
 

We offer technical advice and tutorials free of charge. Labor is not covered under our warranty.

Returns

Your satisfaction is important to us.
 

Unopened Merchandise may be returned within 10 business days of delivery.
 

Opened Merchandise may be returned within 5 business days of delivery, and all vehicles must no miles of usage. Merchandise must be undamaged and in the original packaging. 

 

We do not accept Opened Merchandise with mileages on it for return. 
 

In all cases, return shipping will be paid by the customer. Refunds will be processed on inspection by CHARTIOR.

Liability & Responsibility

All participants must agree to observe local traffic laws and ensure that their conduct in no way puts at risk the welfare of any participant while using our products.

 

In case of a collision or accident which causes damage to the participant or others while using our E-bikes or Scooters, the participant causing the collision or accident will be liable for all damages.

Accepting the purchase of our E-bike or scooter signifies agreement and therefore acceptance to our policies.

 

If you ride under the heavy influence of alcohol or drugs, harass other participants, ride in an unsafe manner or any other inappropriate behavior, Chartior is not liable or responsible for this.

Physical Ability

It is the sole responsibility of the participant to determine his or her level of riding our E-Bikes and Scooters and road handling ability and whether or not our E-bikes or Scooters are suitable for the individual concerned.

 

Participants accept all risks to their physical well-being associated with this activity, such as their ability to withstand exposure to the elements, level, and extent of physical exertion, tolerance, and endurance.

 

We make no assumption about any riding skill or equipment maintenance or physical fitness levels of any participant.

Participants will be using public roads and bicycle-paths and it is for the participants to decide whether or not their equipment, speed, physical endurance, and/or E-bike or scooter and road handling are of an appropriate standard.
